To be an inventor may be many students' dream. Have you got any new ideas? Try them out by making something creative. If you want to show your talent for invention, welcome to the Invention Competition.
Here is some information about the competition you want to know:
◆The organizer: No. 8 Yangguang School, Beach City
◆Time & place: Next Friday(October 11th) & the School Hall
◆Groups of competition: Primary School Group(Age: 6~12)
Middle School Group(Age: 13~15)
◆Prizes: Each group includes the first, second and third prizes. Of all, there are two first prizes, five second prizes and eight third prizes in either group. Even if you haven't won any prize, you'll still get a souvenir(纪念品) that's used to encourage you to take part in this competition.
And as a contestant(参赛者), you should know the following rules:
☆You must be a student from No. 8 Yangguang School, either in its primary school or middle school.
☆You are allowed to bring at most two inventions for the competition. However, you can only compete in your age group.
☆Your “invention” may be your creative idea that has been written into words. But you need to explain it clearly to the judges(评委).
☆You can't take your invention away right away after the competition. All the inventions winning the prizes will be on show in the school hall for at least two weeks.
