阅读下面短文,简略回答问题。
Friday was wash day,and it was Carrie’s least favourite day. Washing clothes was really tiring. First,he had to collect all the dirty clothes. Then,he needed to take all the things out of the pockets of his clothes. After that,he had to find some coins(硬币)for washing clothes. Four coins were for the washing machine and three were for the dryer.
Carrie put all his clothes into the clothes - washing basket and went downstairs. When he got close to the washing place,he was happy to find it was quiet. No one was using the machines. He put the washing powder(洗衣粉)and coins into the washing machine and set it to warm water. He put the dirty clothes into it. He set the timer(计时器)for 35 minutes. When the washing machine finished,he would put the washed clothes to the dryer.
As he waited,he thought about how much work he needed to do in something as simple as getting clothes clean. By taking care of his own clothes,he learned to manage(管理)his time and money. Now,he realized that every small task at home was a part of keeping his life in order. When everything was done and he carried the clean, fresh - smelling clothes back upstairs,he felt a sense of accomplishment(成就感)that he never expected from doing the wash.
1. What did Carrie think of Friday?
2. How many coins did he need for washing clothes?
3. How long did it take to wash the dirty clothes?
4. What did he learn from washing clothes?
5. What chores can bring you a sense of accomplishment?Write down one and give the reason.
