Friday was wash day,and it was Carrie’s least favourite day. Washing clothes was really tiring. First,he had to collect all the dirty clothes. Then,he needed to take all the things out of the pockets of his clothes. After that,he had to find some coins(硬币)for washing clothes. Four coins were for the washing machine and three were for the dryer.
Carrie put all his clothes into the clothes - washing basket and went downstairs. When he got close to the washing place,he was happy to find it was quiet. No one was using the machines. When the washing machine finished,he would put the washed clothes to the dryer.

Now,he realized that every small task at home was a part of keeping his life in order. When everything was done and he carried the clean,fresh - smelling clothes back upstairs,he felt a sense of accomplishment(成就感)that he never expected from doing the wash.
