Good - looking^① or Not
Once there is a man. He has two children, a boy and a girl. The boy is good - looking, but the girl is not.
One day they find a mirror^② and for the first time, they see what they look like. The boy is very pleased. He says to his sister, “How handsome^③ I am! I look much nicer than you!” The girl does not like what he says. She gives her brother a push^④ and says, “Go away!”
Their father sees what is happening and says to the boy, “You must always be as good as you look.”
And to the girl, he says, “My dear, if you help everyone and are kind to everyone, you will be loved. Our looks don't mean everything.”
好看和难看
