六、阅读理解。
A
(社会热点)On April 19,2025,Beijing held the world’s first human-like robot half-marathon(半程马拉松). 21 teams of robots ran on a 21.1-kilometre course with human runners. This showed that robots can do real-life tasks, like running long distances.
The winner was Tiangong Ultra. It finished in 2 hours and 40 minutes, with a top speed of 12 km/h. This 1.8-metre-tall robot used light materials and cooling parts not to get too hot. Other teams impressed people too. For example,Whirlwind Kid and Little Giant(a 75-centimetre-tall robot)had special shoes to absorb shocks(吸震)and used AI to keep balance on hills and gravel paths(石子路).
The race tested how far the robots could go. The track had 14 tight turns(急转弯)and steep hills. It also had different surfaces(表面),like grass and small stones. Teams could change batteries(电池)at seven supply stations. If they replaced the whole robot, they lost 10 minutes. Some robots wore special shoes to protect their joints(关节). Others used sensors(传感器)that worked instantly(立刻)to avoid falling.
This event wasn’t just a competition. It helped robotics in real life. For example,Kuafu robot learned to move smoothly with little training data. This is good for disaster rescue. Organisers called it a big step and said robots could help doctors in hospitals or move goods(商品)in factories in the future. As one engineer said,“This marathon shows how robots and humans can work together for a smarter future.”
