Who is “momo”? You may not have seen one in person,but you're more than likely to meet one online. On Xiaohongshu,Douban or other social media(媒体),more and more people with the name “momo” and the pictures of a dinosaur appear. As the Paper reported,the Internet makes it hard for many people to see the boundaries between online and offline lives. Worrying about personal information being given away and being cyber-bullied(网暴)by others,or being afraid of showing how they really feel on the Internet,people are more willing to go online anonymously. “Hiding under the name of ‘momo’,I've never worried that I will be found by people in my real life,” Coco Ding said.
