The wolf is coming
狼来了
There is a boy who looks after the sheep near the village. The boy is often bored, so one day he decides to play a trick on the villagers to amuse himself. “Wolf! Wolf!” he shouts.

The villagers come rushing up the hill to save the sheep. But when they get there, there is no wolf and the boy laughs at them. “You must not tell lies!” say the villagers angrily, and they go back down to the village.

Soon the boy is bored again, so he shouts, “Wolf! Wolf!” And the villagers rush up the hill to save the sheep. The boy laughs at them. “You must not tell lies!” say the villagers angrily, and they go back down to the village again.

Later that day, while the boy is watching his sheep, a wolf does come into the field. The boy cries, “Wolf! Wolf!” But no one comes to help and the wolf eats all the sheep.
