A grasshopper(蚱蜢)sits on a hot summer day. He says,“What a fine day! I can make music and dance here. How happy I am!” He has a good time and then he meets a little ant(蚂蚁). The ant is taking corn(玉米)home.
The grasshopper says to the ant,“Hello,little ant. Why do you work so hard? Aren’t you tired?” The ant answers,“Yes. I’m tired. But I work hard to collect the food for winter. One day,someone knocks at his door. He opens the door and sees the grasshopper. “Please help me,my friend,” the grasshopper says. “I’m very cold and hungry. I don’t have any food to eat. ” The ant lets the grasshopper in and gives him some food to eat.
