My grandma is a gentle old lady. Like many women of her time, she has a talent for sewing. She made all my childhood clothes on her own. As a young girl, rather than playing outside with my friends, I liked staying with my grandmother to help her sew. I was so interested in getting the thread through the eye of the needle.
Later, instead of making clothes, my grandmother would sew gloves or insoles(鞋垫) for me. She cannot be with me all the time, but the love passed by her needle and thread warms me.
