The Farming Club has a school trip today. They are visiting a big farm. Do the students like the trip? Let’s see what they say.
Cathy: It is a really great trip. It is my first time to see so many animals. The chickens are really lovely. They run here and there, looking for food. The horse is strong and they run fast. Before I get on the horse, I feel it’s scary. But when I am on the horse, I feel excited and interested. The strawberries are delicious. It is my first time to eat fruit I pick by myself. And I will take some home for my mother. She likes them, too.
Ben: It is not far from our school to the farm, but the bus ride takes us two hours! I can’t do anything on the bus but sleep. I will never go to the farm again. There isn’t anything interesting to do. Crows, horses, chickens and sheep are everywhere. It is dirty. Our teacher asks us to pick vegetables, but I don’t like it. It is not so easy for me.
Eddie: The farm is beautiful. You can find it in my photos. And the farmers are friendly. They show us around and they cook delicious food for us. I don’t like animals, but all the animals are friendly and lovely. I see one farmer milk a cow. I really want to milk one by myself. I’d like to go to the farm with my parents next time.
