DAY 5 阅读理解 人与自我(做人与做事) | 记叙文 | 词数: 251+175 | 难度: ★★★★☆ | 建议用时: 9 min | 答案册: P25
The clouds were dark and it was raining. A shepherd(牧羊犬) quickly led his sheep to look for a safe place. The sheep were cold and wet. They were tired, but they had to run behind the shepherd. They all hoped to reach a shelter(庇护所) soon.
A wolf passed by and he found the shepherd and the sheep. He was hungry and couldn't wait to eat one of the sheep. He said to himself, "Oh, there will be a super lunch for me." He ran after them slowly. Sometimes he hid behind a huge rock. Sometimes he hid behind a big tree. He didn't want the shepherd and the sheep to notice him.
The shepherd turned around to keep an eye on the sheep. Suddenly he noticed the wolf running after them. He knew he had to come up with an idea to get rid of(摆脱) the wolf.
Suddenly a huge lorry(卡车) appeared and stopped nearby. The shepherd barked at the driver loudly. The driver didn't know what happened, but he knew the shepherd needed help. He got out of the lorry, looked around and found the wolf, too.
The driver decided to save the shepherd and the sheep. The back of the lorry was huge, so the lorry driver let the sheep go inside it. The sheep stayed there safely and comfortably.
The wolf could do nothing to stop the lorry driver. He just stood there and watched the shepherd and all the sheep go away in the lorry.
