①Why not ask for help if you need help? Don't feel embarrassed(尴尬的) when you ask for help. It's natural to do that. If you don't know how to ask for help,remember these suggestions.
②Choose the right time. Don't ask anyone for help when they are very busy. For example,don't ask your teachers for help with homework as they are trying to start class. Don't ask your friends for advice as they are rushing out of the door.
③Speak up. If you don't ask for help,you won't receive it. Sometimes people might be hesitant to step up and offer help. If you need something,just speak up. For example,if you are lost in a new city,be brave and ask for directions. You can go into a nearby store and ask the owner the way. You can also ask a bus driver which stop you need.
④Be specific(具体的). Instead of just saying "I need help",you should describe what you need clearly. For example,you can say to your teacher,"I don't understand how to solve the equation(方程式). Could you please show me how to work out this problem?"
⑤Be polite. If you want to get help from a person,you must be polite to him or her. Nobody is ready to help you if you are impolite. Smiling is a way to show your politeness.
