①In summer, lots of people spend their holidays at the beach, either in their home country or in another country. They can swim or play games there. But do you know they can also play different sports in the water?
②Surfing is a popular sport for people of all ages. All you need is a wetsuit(潜水衣), a board and some big waves. In the past, the boards were made of wood which made them very heavy to carry and surf on. Now the boards are made of a lighter material(材料), so surfers can move faster. Kayaking might be dangerous when there are huge waves. For safety, lots of people prefer to go kayaking on a sunny day at the peaceful beach.
④There are some other water sports you can play. Whatever sport you choose, you should remember that safety is always the most important thing.
