DAY 3 阅读理解 人与自我(做人与做事)记叙文 词数:266+156 难度:★★★★★ 建议用时:9 min 答案册:P34
Jack, Sally and Mike were bored. They wanted to play outside but it was dark and difficult to see. Sally had an idea. She said, "Let's play hide-and-seek." Jack and Mike agreed. Jack said to Sally, "You and Mike hide first. I will seek you."
Jack found a big tree, closed his eyes and started to count down from ten. Sally and Mike looked at each other and then they ran off in different directions to find hiding places.
It was easy to find Sally. She always ran off and then circled back. Mike found the biggest tree and hid behind it. Jack couldn't find Mike and he shouted Mike's name loudly. Mike wanted to find a new safe place, but suddenly he fell into a hole. Mike shouted for help in a loud voice, "Did you hear me, Jack and Sally? I need your help."
Jack heard Mike's shout and he came to the hole with Sally. The hole was so deep that Mike couldn't get out. Mike was afraid because the hole was very dark. Jack told Mike not to be nervous. He said, "I will go and find my dad. Sally will stay here and have a chat with you." Sally and Mike agreed. Then Jack ran back home and found his father.
After a while, Jack's father arrived with a long rope. He threw the rope into the hole and asked Mike to hold it. They tried their best to pull Mike out. When Mike got out of the hole, he hugged them and said thanks to them.
