What do you usually do in your free time? Play sports? Watch TV? How about reading books? You must know the Chinese saying,"Read thousands of books and travel thousands of miles." Nowadays reading becomes more and more important in our life. Many kids prefer (更喜欢) listening to a book to reading one. Which one do you prefer?
Mike: I prefer listening. Audio-books (有声书) bring the stories to life. When I'm listening,the pictures jump into my mind. It also helps me read more difficult books because many words are new to me when reading,but not when listening.
Jenny: I prefer reading. I often read a book many times,but I don't always read it from the beginning. It's more convenient (方便的) to do that with a book than an audio-book. I can also take notes in books. I think taking notes can help me learn a lot.
Daniel: I enjoy both. I like to read my Kindle but I move on (转变) to an audio-book at night. Listening does the same thing as reading,but it helps protect my eyesight.
