Jiang Jingwei is from Shanghai, but he has parents—Xia Zhanhai and Liang Qiaoying in Shanxi Province. There's a warm story between them.
Xia Zhanhai lost his son in an accident in 2003. After the accident, his wife Liang Qiaoying couldn't move freely or remember things clearly. Xia didn't want the bad news about their son to make his wife's health worse, so he told her that their son went to work in another city.
