Mongolia is in Asia, between Russia and China. It is one of the highest countries in the world. Mongolia's temperature can change as much as 35 degrees in one day. The climate is very dry and it receives only about four inches of rainfall per year. Southern Mongolia is dominated (占据)by the Gobi, which is one of the coldest deserts on earth. And it is 1,295,000 square kilometers in size.
