The tree soaks (浸泡) in water when it is wet. During dry seasons, the baobab tree can use the stored water. Some baobabs can store thousands of gallons(加仑) of water and people can get the water from the trees when they need it.
Sadly, in recent years, the baobab trees are dying because of climate change. Scientists are trying hard to take action to save them.
